Rita Ackermann
뉴욕에서 활동중인 헝가리 출생의 예술가 리타 아커만은 상반되는 충동의 개념인 창작과 파괴, 그리고 구상과 추상을 넘나드는 화풍을 핵심으로 독창적인 작업을 선보인다. 작품 속 인물의 형상은 보일 듯 말 듯한 모호함을 자아내며, 관객의 상상속에 침투하여 그 형태가 변화무쌍하다. 아커만의 작업에서는 반복적인 지움의 흔적들이 우연하게 드러나는데, 이는 형태나 풍경이 생략되고 지워지는 과정과 움직임을 화면에 고스란히 담아낸다.
